My Love for the city

Image
The local train moving swiftly from station to station....I sit in a corner and watch people get in and out... Its a busy Monday morning and i am into the city after a long break.... we were shifting out of of the city in few weeks and the inner me is not accepting it in a happy note.. Not every one likes this city....reasons vary...but once u find its soul in its language or dressing or cheerful smile of silk saree draped aunties ...or in the chats coming out of temples in the mornings...or in the beautifully decorated kolams in front of houses...you will love it... Though the hot sultry humid climate and lack of weekend places might pull you down... That's just the part of the city... now i see people from various religions and cultures mingle and get a common traditional look and humbleness... I remember my first journey to the city all alone in a train and people in my coach were talking various things about the city...someone scaring me to the core... ...

Morning Musings!

Image
I was lazy enough to switch my alarm off and close my eyes…After 15 mins my 2 nd Alarm wakes me up..! I have already made up my mind not to jog just for today, But my sleepy mind suggests me to leave my laziness behind as I am on a rigorous diet.. So in few minutes I decided to go for a walk not a jog though.. I was not in good mood in the morning..So I thought may be a walk can change the mood.. As a habit , I started selecting songs to plug in the ear phones , I selected the song from S/o Satya murthy.. Chal chalo chalo.. Truly inspirational song! I recommend to read(Listen to) the lyrics.. That’s it…My mood started to set right within few minutes, My mood was coming back and ready for a fresh morning. Songs really change your mood- true indeed..! As someone rightly said.. ‘When you are in happy mood - The music is what you look for, When you are in disturbed mood – you look at the lyrics’ I think I repeated the song long enough to...

The Habit of Honking Horn...!!

Image
After a long tiring day at office, I started off to home…Sweet home. I had to take a diversion from the main road, All of a sudden my focus shifted when I heard a long honk at back of my bike, I moved sideways and gave the way thinking that bike might need it, I saw the bikewala with goggles, his daughter sitting in front and his wife at back moving parallel to me as the traffic was indefensible to move forward in that narrow road, He was still honking the horn this time to the car in front of him, after a while he made a way with his irritating horn and moved forward by obstructing the vehicles coming in opposite direction. From that moment till I parked my bike in front of my home, I was hearing lot of continuous honking, not all the honks were necessary to warn. I remember well, When I was first learning the vehicles be it a bike or car, I was being miser in using the honks, My dad used to get frustrated with my alien behavior of not honking, he used to warn me next ...

My Movie Review - Srimanthudu

Image
HI Guys! I usually do not review any movie formally,Movies are big...with various departments and each putting in lot of efforts ...what we see for 2-2 and 1/2 hours might have taken effort of hundreds of people for months  ,it is so easy to judge the movie ,sitting in AC theater,Eating popcorn, sipping coke and tweeting inch by inch, Then why did i start writing this article? I watched this movie on the first day without reading a review and without even watching promos fully.. Going to a movie with expectation set to Zero on the first day is too dangerous.. if you do not connect with the movie or vise versa .. I was connected to the concept of the movie in the first instance, It is a very simple story line, not many star heroes dare to take it up,Hats off Mahesh Babbu sir! There are few dialogues and gestures in the movie which strike us somewhere, Returning back to the society is a nice line, We the people have become so sophisticated that we no longer put in our effor...

In past XY odd years...i never thought about my weight and height much....i was in a kind of assumption that i am fattier or bubbly or plumply.. I am not a much of couch potato...I tried many ways from going to Gym,to playing games..Practicing Yoga.. i tried various things..nothing caught my focus..Until i tried something crazy recently.. That's 'Jogging/Running' I was surfing something on internet then i read an article about C25K, I researched about it a bit on net and found it as an effective way to get fitness... I don't remember the exact day i started it, but from that day my life style has totally changed, I started sleeping early the day before the jog(The jog was for 3 alternate days a week), Started waking up early 4:40 AM(Never in my life i imagined that i would actually wake up early) . I became cautious about my diet. Stopped wasting my time in surfing net unnecessarily.  After the first day of jog, I understood that it was not my cup of...

Its You....!No one Else..

If you watch the TV for an hour,or may be for half an hr we might get advertisements at least twice in between, half of them would be on beauty products and more than 50% of them would concentrate on the skin, Some of them would just say 'I was not getting married because of my skin color',To speak with your dad about your plans of career and marriage ,you should be fair?? What is the funny of all is,people are ashamed of the their own skin color and some of the adds shows girls following the instructions like goats and cleaning their faces with fairness gel.. Skin color of the Native Population Girls wake up!! It is your skin color ,You own it,The dusky color is the color of the average Indian, Do not deny the fact, Be proud of what you are, Instead of being depressed of your skin color ,Focus on anything that can be changeable, On your body or in the world. The more you use cosmetics the more are the chances that you are prone to Cancer, also it shows you ...

Olympics……In India

Image
Olympics From last 15 days…This word has been used in Media. Even the commercials of the Big companies used it liberally….To my surprise even the State government of some state has announced in a one Big page advertisement that of the total participants maximum are from there state and also declared an amount for every prize winner…. This looks so colorful to see everyone are so eager …And making special programs and campaigns like Go for Gold, Gold Quest etc…. This time a total of 88 participants from India represented on the world’s Big stage…There were many hopes that this time India would better its performance and may get more respectable position on the medal tally charts.. But as the games progressed we could see one by one many of our participants coming out of the battle..But still every day morning when I switch on the news, they will have a cover story of one more player participating for that day…and the News Readers cheering them for Gol...
