Seasons - A Way of Nature

Early this month the sun has tested our patience and tolerance with the temperature raise....2nd week of June we are blessed with a sudden flash rains(not heavy though) and then rains in regular intervals

 No more power cuts.. no more water problems..but ..wait..we have to either learn swimming or make our vehicles as boats when required...

 With the effect of Global warming every season is becoming increasingly alarming and difficult to survive...

The nature has given many things to us..What did we give back to it??

Pollution of all sorts and we are eliminating all the other species by direct attach or by restricting there their access to the natural resources...

Let us now think about the most integral part of nature... 'Water'

Here I do not want to complain about the countries and Governments..How far are we utilizing the water properly...??

 I live in one of the fast growing cities of the world ‘Hyderabad’, where the concrete jungles have become more common than the trees and parks...

Every year the people living in Hyderabad face water problems in summer …For the first time I had exposure to this problem..Every bucket of water is so precious...It is the same situation in almost all the parts of the world …

Water which is a natural resource is soon becoming a precious resource ..

a)The water was freely available to all the living beings …

Man with his intelligence restricted the access to water to himself building the water tanks and closing all the water resources..DO you know birds are dying in summer because of the dehydration caused due to lack of water availability …

b)We are making the cities beautiful by expanding the roads and cutting down the trees which are on the way…

we try to cover all the land as much as possible to avoid the dust spreading …

Building huge buildings and diggings hundreds of meters into the earth for water

c) Allowing the waters from industries to enter the rivers without treating them properly..

These are just some examples of our intelligent behavior…and few results of them are

1) We are not allowing the Ecological balance,

2)By Cementing everywhere we are not even allowing the water to go inside the earth …which is a  source of underground water

3) Rain water does not have a place to go into any water bodies or inside the earth as a result the flood comes

4)By allowing the industry wastes..We are not protecting the existing source of water..

In summer we wait for the rainy season to escape from water problems…Instead of waiting for the seasons to change ..we need to change…

These may be our first step towards the CHANGE

1)Plant as many trees as possible..

2) Try to recharge the ground water (Many techniques available )

3)By not wasting water…
